Abstracts:

The article examines the professional activity of the advisor to the school principal for education as a new actor in the modern school educational system, ensuring the interaction of the educational organization with children’s public associations.

Increasing demands on school upbringing, the implementation of the Federal Program for Education and Development of Children’s and Youth Associations highlight the need to identify professional knowledge and skills ensuring the effectiveness of this specialist. The study is based on the analysis of regulatory documents and scientific literature and uses theoretical, descriptive, and empirical methods, including a survey of advisors.

The findings show that effectiveness depends on mastery of key methodological approaches (axiological, anthropological, cultural-historical, system-activity, and learner-centered), as well as the ability to organize the educational environment, coordinate stakeholders, and involve students, including at-risk groups, in socially significant activities of youth organizations (“Dvizhenie Pervyh”). Particular importance is attached to individualized support, the creation of situations of success, and gradual inclusion of students in collective practices.

Professional knowledge and skills of the advisor are a key condition for effective upbringing, ensuring positive student socialization and the development of the school educational environment.
