Abstracts:

This article examines values and meanings as individual and collective constructs that serve as tools for developing a resilient personality in university students. It substantiates the importance of developing students’ values and meanings as a key condition for their competitiveness, psychological resilience, and genuine self-realization in a complex, rapidly changing world. At the same time, the problem of integrating the value-semantic dimension into the educational process at modern universities is not being addressed effectively and does not meet the challenges of the times. One of the reasons for this state of affairs is the contradiction between the declared humanistic paradigm of education and its actual practice, which often boils down to a linear transfer of information. The aim of the study is to analyze value-semantic orientations and substantiate a model for their development as the basis for successful self-realization of university students. This goal was achieved using a combination of research methods, including the analysis, systematization, and synthesis of scientific, pedagogical, and methodological literature on the issue under study, as well as the analysis of current concepts and development strategies for higher education institutions. The authors substantiate the proposition that values and meanings not only shape moral priorities but also define students’ self-awareness, making the boundaries between the inner and outer worlds fluid. In the context of the value disorientation of modern society, the interdisciplinary problem of spiritual and moral immunity, arising at the intersection of psychology, pedagogy, and cultural studies, is particularly relevant. It is emphasized that the formation of stable value-semantic structures is impossible without the development of individual culture as an internal space for subjective reflection. Particular attention is given to the role of the humanities, studied by university students, as cultural translators that ensure the reproduction of society’s spiritual code. It is concluded that values, being a key regulatory mechanism of social and personal behavior, should be considered in an inextricable connection with a specific socio-cultural context.
