Abstracts:

The purpose of the work is to develop and experimentally test a theoretical model of blended teaching social science subjects in secondary schools and to determine a set of pedagogical conditions for its effective implementation. To achieve this goal, a set of theoretical, empirical and mathematical and statistical methods, which is traditional for pedagogical research, was used.

The paper presents the author’s model of the organization of blended teaching social science subjects as a functioning pedagogical system with the allocation of its structural and functional components. The work highlights and meaningfully characterizes a set of pedagogical conditions that reveal the qualitative nature of the necessary and sufficient requirements for all structural and functional elements of blended teaching as a pedagogical system - for the purpose and results, for the subjects of the educational process (teacher and students), means and methods, forms of organization of training and control of its results.

The results of a pedagogical experiment involving experimental (28 people) and control (26 people) groups of students in grades 5 and 6 of a secondary school are presented. It is established that the organization of a blended teaching course “Universal History. The History of the Ancient World”, taking into account the complex of pedagogical conditions developed by the author, made it possible to significantly improve its subject, personal and metasubject educational results.
