Yakovlev CHSPU.
The analysis of the experience of leading Russian universities, the assessment of the level of financial literacy in the Russian Federation and the Chuvash Republic formed the basis of the developed methodology for teaching the subject “Financial and Economic Practicum”.
The statistical data on the final Russian financial literacy index showed an increase in financial knowledge, as well as an increase in financial fraud. The Government of the country, including the Chuvash Republic, is actively engaged in updating the issues of increasing the level of financial literacy of the population through the development of various programs under the supervision of the Central Bank of Russia, including the development of public education programs in the field of financial issues in their native (Chuvash) language.
