Abstracts:

The professional training of teachers of native (non-Russian) language schools needs to be significantly adjusted, basing on current trends in the field of education and the legislative framework that has changed. The appeal to this research topic is justified by the adoption of amendments to the Federal Law “On Education in the Russian Federation”, the insufficiently developed theoretical and methodological foundations of teacher training programs in schools of this type. The relevance of this article lies in achieving a high quality of such a training at the present stage of the development of the system of continuing pedagogical education, taking into account the socio-cultural situation and the level of functioning of native (ethnic) languages in the subjects of the Russian Federation. The article provides a brief analysis of the works of the Russian and foreign scientists on the problem under study. The main purpose of the study is to study the problems and current state of the training of teachers of native (non-Russian) language schools in our country. The author gives the definition of the concept of a native (non-Russian) language school; reveals the grounds for classifying such schools. The article describes a system of continuous professional training for teachers of native (non-Russian) language schools, basing on the needs of the regions and the availability of this type of schools in them. Examples of various regions of the Russian Federation in solving the problems of teacher training, taking into account the social order of society and territorial conditions, are given. At the end of the article, it is concluded that it is necessary to organize interaction between various organizations in order to improve the quality of teacher training for native (non-Russian) language schools.
