Abstracts:

The article is devoted to the problem of developing intercultural communicative competence of future Chinese language translators based on language partnership. The relevance of the study lies in the growing demand for specialists in translation from Chinese, caused by the strengthening of foreign policy and economic ties between Russia and China, as well as the insufficient effectiveness of traditional methods for developing intercultural communicative competence in university graduates. The pedagogical experience of developing intercultural communicative competence in students majoring in 45.05.01 “Translation and Translation Studies” at I. Yakovlev Chuvash State Pedagogical University and in students of the First Shandong Medical University in Tai’an, Shandong Province, People’s Republic of China, studying Russian, was analyzed. Theoretical (analysis, synthesis, generalization, modeling) and empirical (experimental work, observation, mathematical processing of results) methods were applied. A structural and substantive model for developing intercultural communicative competence in future Chinese language translators based on language partnerships has been developed. The organizational and pedagogical conditions for its effective implementation have been substantiated: coordination of regulatory documents between partner universities in Russia and China; creation of a system of educational and methodological support for students’ language pairs; development and implementation of a set of diagnostic methods for assessing the level of development of intercultural communicative competence. The article concludes that the developed model, the pedagogical potential of language partnership and substantiated organizational and pedagogical conditions contribute to the effective development of intercultural communicative competence in future Chinese language translators.
