This article examines the pressing issue of personalizing the development of students’ transversal competences in a modern digital educational environment.  The study was conducted at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University using a digital platform that collects, visualizes, and analyzes student achievements in academic, scientific, social, and additional activities, taking into account individual educational goals and students’ needs for developing transversal competences. The research methodology is based on an expert assessment of the platform’s functionality across five personalization components. The results revealed a high level of student agency and effective feedback, a moderate level of partnership, and limited implementation of problem-oriented tasks and adaptive technologies, which reveals areas for further improvement of portfolio technology. The conclusion emphasizes that the digital portfolio creates a foundation for the formation of personalized educational trajectories for university students and promotes the development of critical thinking and professional agency, which is important for the high-quality training of specialists in a digital educational environment.
