Abstracts:

In modern society, the introduction of digital technologies has made information security issues particularly relevant. Information security specialists are trained in disciplines that develop algorithmic thinking and the ability to develop program code. This article examines the importance of teaching algorithmization and programming in the training of information security specialists. Algorithms help structure the learning process, enable automation, and are used in software and network vulnerability analysis, threat detection, development of protective measures, and modeling of information security situations, thereby facilitating the acquisition of professional competencies. Given the widespread use of artificial intelligence, aspects of its use in teaching algorithmization and programming are analyzed. The article presents the results of studies on the inclusion of practice-oriented tasks and cases using situations from professional activities in the field of information security. Examples of practice-oriented assignments and case studies, developed by the authors, are presented. They facilitate the establishment of links between theory and practice and increase motivation for learning algorithms and programming, as well as for future professional activities. The positive and negative aspects of the application of artificial intelligence are highlighted, along with the results of a survey on students’ use of neural networks in the educational process.
