Abstracts:
The article is devoted to the analysis of professional activity of a designer in the context of implementation of an IT project. The relevance of the topic is due to the demand of the labor market for qualified specialists in the field of design, namely in the development of IT projects. The introduction of modern digital technologies in various fields of activity entails increased competition in the design of companies’ digital resources, which is why there is currently an increase in employers’ demands for the quality of graduate training. To maintain the competitiveness of students graduating from a higher educational institution, it is necessary to adjust the educational process. The theoretical research materials are scientific publications on the national standards of the Russian Federation. Based on the research material, the paper defines the essence of the concept of an IT project and identifies the stages of its development. The article describes the main roles and tasks of the IT team members who develop an IT project. One of the key research results is a detailed description of the designer’s activities at each stage of development, based on which the content of the components of the designer’s professional competence as a member of the IT project development team was determined. The article concludes that the contents of the professional competence of a designer that we have identified represent a practical tool for preparing graduates for future professional activities and improving the quality of IT project development.
