Name of article:LINGUOCULTURAL ASPECT IN TEACHING VOCABULARY WITH A NATIONAL AND CULTURAL COMPONENT TO FOREIGN STUDENTS
Keywords:

The article is devoted to one of the urgent problems of modern higher education – the improvement of the methods of forming stable intercultural communication skills in foreign students of various fields of study as a result of turning to the linguacultural aspect of training as the most effective in mastering vocabulary with a national and cultural component. The authors of the article consider it insufficient to use only the regional studies approach in working with foreign students, emphasizing the advantages of the linguacultural aspect focused on mastering the language through the perception of cultural facts. Taking into account the experience of teaching Russian to foreign students of the humanitarian and technical faculties, the article suggests possible types of work with nationally marked vocabulary. Using the example of Russian precedent names (Ilya Muromets), as well as words with a generalized meaning that appeared in the language thanks to fiction (Manilovshchina), in addition to traditional work with evaluative vocabulary, the need to use a cultural and historical commentary containing historical background, ethnocultural and cultural and artistic information is shown. The special role of referring to the sources of the word as a fact of the Russian mentality is emphasized. The article provides examples of individual topics oriented towards working with nationally marked vocabulary, which allows the teacher to form not only professional but also supra-subject competencies in students within the framework of the subject.
