| Abstracts: | The article is devoted to the analysis of vestimentary practices as games with a chronotope in the aspect of the functioning of core aesthetics in media discourse. Their role in recognizing trends, transforming social norms and identities depending on the actualization of time parameters and chronotopic models is analyzed. The relevance of the research is due to the interest in the semantics of temporality, a key aspect of linguistic and cultural processes. Aestheticians with pronounced temporal semantics “play with the chronotope”, modeling media memory, rethinking cultural phenomena of different eras and forming individual and collective attitudes. The analysis of temporal strategies of meaning formation in fashion trends is important for understanding the dynamics of socio-cultural changes. The research was based on the texts of the online media of the fashion media discourse. The work uses component, contextual, descriptive, classification methods, cognitive-discursive analysis. The systematization of core aesthetics reveals the mechanisms of modeling socio-cultural trends. Historical aesthetics mediate the past, form nostalgia and reinterpretation in the media. Modern core aesthetics are associated with urbanism, sports, fantasy, mysticism, and gender roles; they are pragmatic, technological, ironic, and rely on digital platforms. Futuristic core aesthetics appeal to technology and fiction, expressing ambivalence and forming alternative narratives. Thus, the temporal semantics of core aesthetics provides the modeling of media memory, the translation of emotional dominants, and the formation of individual and collective attitudes.
