Abstracts:

The article discusses the creation, organization and management of career guidance work with schoolchildren in the field of electric power industry. The modern younger generation in the intensively changing socio-economic process is very difficult to adapt to the choice of a future profession, which sets new tasks for the career guidance system, the creation of various specialized centers for immersing schoolchildren in the world of professions. Proper organization of the career guidance process and its management will contribute to the self-determination of schoolchildren, whike their parents will be able to assess how the efficiency of choice of their children' future professions. The article discusses the energy career guidance session in the children's health camp, presents the criteria for selecting schoolchildren to participate in this session. Much attention is paid to professional tests. The purpose of this article is to increase interest among schoolchildren in studying rather complex technical disciplines at school, prepare for admission to universities, and provide career guidance to pupils for them to choose their future professions. The presented article will be of great  interest for departments of technical universities and colleges that are engaged in career guidance work with schoolchildren.
