Abstracts:Currently, digitalization is changing many aspects of our lives, including in education and training. Thus, new methods and means of introducing innovative digital technologies are being used and developed in the field of training future teachers. It is worth paying special attention to the fact that virtual reality (VR) technologies are beginning to occupy a special place. By virtual reality we mean a reality that is modeled by a person and used to create the illusion of the user’s presence in some artificially generated world, while providing the possibility of interaction with various objects through senses.
At the same time, in the era of the development of digital transformation of education, the issue of readiness to use and implement various technologies, including virtual reality, by future teachers in their professional activities is very acute.
The article is devoted to the analysis of the motivational readiness of pedagogical university students to use virtual reality technologies. In the motivational component of readiness for the use of virtual technologies in education, functional components can be distinguished: personal readiness and professional readiness. In this paper we have studied the levels of formation of each of these components in students of the Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University.
