Abstracts:
The article is devoted to the disclosure of the factors influencing the motivation of Chinese students in the process of music education as the most important condition for achieving its effectiveness. Motivation as a psychophysiological process, which is a complex of internal factors, determines the orientation of a person to achieve a certain goal, in general, to his behavior. In relation to Chinese students, whose activities are focused on musical education, it is motivation that determines the main guideline for obtaining music education, based on the acquisition of experience in the formation of musical culture of the individual. The study of the theory and practice of music education at the university indicates the need to recognize that students in the process of music education are guided by a personally significant desire to master, first of all, musical skills and knowledge that make up the baggage of musical performance, musical listening and musical analytical knowledge and skills. This baggage determines the competence of student’s personality in the subject area - music education. As a rule, motivation is one of the central aspects of the educational process that determine the level of personal and professional self-realization of a student, so it is necessary to study the role of factors influencing the development of this motivation in the educational trajectory of each student, regardless of nationality. Nevertheless, the article discusses the specifics of music education of Chinese students in the context of taking into account the factors of their motivation development within the framework of the established traditions of music education.
