Abstracts:
The work is devoted to the analysis of Russian phraseological and paremiological units containing culinary orientalisms. The purpose of the article is to show the phraseological potential of borrowings of oriental genesis in creating the imagery of Russian phraseological and paremiological units or the formation of their variants (conventional and occasional). The relevance of the work is due to the need for a comprehensive study of phraseological units to identify common and idio-ethnic. The components of oriental culinary themes based on the material of Russian phraseological and paremiological units have not been the object of description, and this is the novelty of our article. The study material was the phrasemes of the Russian language with the components of raisins / kishmish and shish kebab / beshbarmak, recorded by different dictionaries and found in Internet sources. The research methods are component analysis, structural-semantic modeling, synchronous-descriptive method, comparative meth-od. Structural and semantic models of phraseological and paremiological units allowed us to illustrate the interlanguage commonality of motivational ideas and at the same time specific, revealed at the level of imagery. The formation of new variant units on the basis of existing models is typical for the language. Modeled phrases bring originality, refresh expression. The research material demonstrates the different phraseological and paremiological potential of the lexemes of oriental origin of culinary topics.
